解釋[1]

Bashō (1644-94). Matsuo Bashō is known mainly as a poet who perfected the art of the haiku, or short, seventeen-syllable verse, although he also composed linked verses (renga) and travelogues that alternated prose and poetry, including his celebrated Journey to the Interior. He studied zen with the renowned Rinzai master Butchō (1643-1715), and appears to have had an enlightenment experience (satori) at the age of 40, perhaps memorialized by his most famous haiku: ‘The old pond; | a frog jumps in. | Splash!’
